WOW!!
I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted! Guess I better catch up! Well, first off, we are no longer working for FLW Outdoors. While we loved the job, there just wasn't enough work to keep us busy. So, unfortunately we found another job where we can work together. AND we still run a simulator!! This one is a bit more "high tech" than the one at FLW...but hopefully as much fun. I reread my past post and recall when we moved into our new home. Hard to believe it's been 2 years! We love it here and "hopefully" we won't be moving again...but with J one never knows!! The only place I would like to move to is closer to my kids/grandkids! I can't believe how fast the grands have grown. They will be 16 and 10 this year...and I know I'M not getting older!!! AAAhhh...til next time, M

Brief update
Wow...can't believe it's been so long since I've posted anything. But then again...still don't have Internet at home...soon I hope.
Well, we are in the new house. Not totally unpacked, but at least 90%. Jim says the rest of the stuff is mine and I should probably get rid of some of it. I know he's right...but how can I part with my sewing stuff!!!
We are on the road again! This time in Rhode Island. What a beautiful state. The drive here was great! Who knew Connecticut had such rocky terrain?! A few days here then back home for a few days, then hitting the road again!
Our newest "on the road" experience has been working/visiting Cabelas stores! WOW...that pretty much describes it for me...WOW. AND the food at the restaurant is great too!! http://www.cabelas.com/ Such great animals in their stores!

What's new?
Well, we are still working on moving into our new house. Hopefully if things go the way they should we should be in next week. This has been the hardest move we've ever made! I told Jim this is the LAST time we are moving. It has been fun though, we've got to pick out the cabinets, tile, carpet, paint color....the list goes on and on. The blinds have arrived, curtains bought, shower curtain too, so we are almost there!
We've been traveling again! Spent a week or more in New York and now spending a couple weeks in Indy! Look for more of our travels as we tell folks about Fantasy Fishing! You too can give it a try just go to www.fantasyfishing.com .
Well, it's a short one, but that's all for now.

Ice, Ice baby

Yep, we got it...Ice! The power went out on January 27 while Jim and I were in Orlando. Sick with worry we headed back home, stopping in Atlanta to spend the night, then headed home Wednesday to Bud. BUT where was my dear FIL....at his lady friends house. He was kind enough to leave us a note stating; "Water turned off, went to Wilma's she has heat". Boy talk about getting thrown under the bus. Jim and I cranked up the little furnace in the family room and found every quilt and blanket we could find to put on our bed. Luckily the neighbors have a gas hot water heater so we went to their house to take showers! Bless Ed and Pat!! We toughed it out for a week, then gave in and went to a hotel. AHHH...heat and hot water!! I have some pictures, but they'll have to wait until my computer is out of storage to be posted!!
So, from a nice warm hotel room, til next time,

On the road again!!

We are on the road again. Currently in beautiful, cold (very cold), Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We are training another couple on running a simulator and yesterday the high was 43!! BRRRRRRRR. Today's high is suppose to be a whopping 36...double BRRRRRRRRRRR.

But on to other news. Happy Anniversary to my son and daughter in law!! 10 years!! Congrats! I gave them a choice of gifts...cash or Lowe's gift card...they choose the Lowe's card!! Gotta love em. They are in the process of getting things ready to remodel their bathroom (only one in the house). Not a small task, but I know they can get it done!!

We are still waiting on the house to be finished so we can move in. The target date is February 25th....but I'm hoping sooner! We'll see. Still have some of the little things to get taken care of; shower curtains, bath rugs, curtains for our room and guest room. But they are slowly falling into place. Jim keeps giving me his suggestions of colors, etc., I listen...but we'll see!!

It's a new year....
Happy New Year to those who read this! I know my friends Ellen and Bob do!! Hi guys! Hope to see you soon!! Anyway, Happy New Year to all and may this be a joyous and prosperous one for you!!
Now for the news....we are MOVING! Not far, just 30 minutes from where we are now. But for those of you who have moved you know how trying it is to pack, etc.!! Plus in the middle of all this we stopped to celebrate Christmas, then took the grandkids on vacation (and had a ball). Our new place won't be ready until mid to late February so in the meantime we will be living with my father-in-law (the bestest one around)!! It's been exciting picking out the wall colors, counter tops, tile, carpet....all the cool new things that go in a house! We still have to order the shades, buy curtains, shower curtains....the little stuff!!
We had a wonderful Christmas, spent it with our kids, my mom, and one of my sisters and her kids. It was a great time and we really enjoyed the time we spent with everyone. Good thing both my boys are great cooks, otherwise I would have been doing it all. But luckily they are GREAT cooks and they did most of the work! Gotta love em!!
