On the road again!!

We are on the road again. Currently in beautiful, cold (very cold), Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We are training another couple on running a simulator and yesterday the high was 43!! BRRRRRRRR. Today's high is suppose to be a whopping 36...double BRRRRRRRRRRR.

But on to other news. Happy Anniversary to my son and daughter in law!! 10 years!! Congrats! I gave them a choice of gifts...cash or Lowe's gift card...they choose the Lowe's card!! Gotta love em. They are in the process of getting things ready to remodel their bathroom (only one in the house). Not a small task, but I know they can get it done!!

We are still waiting on the house to be finished so we can move in. The target date is February 25th....but I'm hoping sooner! We'll see. Still have some of the little things to get taken care of; shower curtains, bath rugs, curtains for our room and guest room. But they are slowly falling into place. Jim keeps giving me his suggestions of colors, etc., I listen...but we'll see!!

Til next time,

It's a new year....

Happy New Year to those who read this! I know my friends Ellen and Bob do!! Hi guys! Hope to see you soon!! Anyway, Happy New Year to all and may this be a joyous and prosperous one for you!!

Now for the news....we are MOVING! Not far, just 30 minutes from where we are now. But for those of you who have moved you know how trying it is to pack, etc.!! Plus in the middle of all this we stopped to celebrate Christmas, then took the grandkids on vacation (and had a ball). Our new place won't be ready until mid to late February so in the meantime we will be living with my father-in-law (the bestest one around)!! It's been exciting picking out the wall colors, counter tops, tile, carpet....all the cool new things that go in a house! We still have to order the shades, buy curtains, shower curtains....the little stuff!!

We had a wonderful Christmas, spent it with our kids, my mom, and one of my sisters and her kids. It was a great time and we really enjoyed the time we spent with everyone. Good thing both my boys are great cooks, otherwise I would have been doing it all. But luckily they are GREAT cooks and they did most of the work! Gotta love em!!

Well, til next time,

M
